4 July 2006 In October 2005 Royal Mail reduced the size of the stamps used for Smilers Sheets. The new size was launched with a booklet of pictorial definitives in a self-adhesive booklet, but no Generic Smilers Sheet was produced, although the personalised sheets were printed by Cartor in litho and the booklets were printed by Walsall SP in gravure. This omission is now rectified with the issue of the present sheet.
