Following the lead set by other countries worldwide, Royal Mail has conducted a complete overhaul of the pricing structure for inland letters and on 21 August introduced pricing based on size as well as weight.

Known as Pricing in Proportion the new pricing structure introduces the concept of the Large Letter for which there will be new 1st & 2nd class definitives. The full list of stamps to be issued is on the webpage linked below.

This stamp is self-adhesive, by Walsall SP in gravure, from booklets of 6 or 12.
