Royal Mail are extending the Smilers service by making the national Country 1st class stamps available for personalisation. As usual, generic sheets are also being issued.
They begin with the Wales stamp, to be issued on 1 March, St David's Day, with a large red dragon in the background, and two sets of 10 pictorial labels showing Welsh scenes. Click on the sheet for a larger image.
The labels show the following scenes, with the labels on the left half of the sheet captioned in Welsh, and those on the right half captioned in Engish:

Designed by Tutssels Enterprise IG, the A4 (297 x 210mm) self-adhesive Smilers Sheet is printed in litho by Cartor Security Printing. All images except Norvic FDCs are Copyright 2006/07 by Royal Mail.
Cover 1 will be in sets of 4 price £18.50 to accommodate all 20 stamps, and labels in both languages.
Cover 2 will be in pairs price £9.50 and will be available with either Welsh or English captioned labels.
We have also uses Royal Mail's Country Stamps FDC to service single stamps (and labels) as this is a new stamp, even though not regarded as such by Royal Mail. If we have any spare after they have been offered to regular customers they will be offered here and in the online shop.

Any postmark can be supplied on plain envelope for £1.20 plus the cost of the stamp.
This is not regarded by Royal Mail as a new issue, so no official First Day postmarks and no new Royal Mail FDC will be available.
