number 1 resource for up-to-date news about new stamps of
Great Britain, as well as all the new postmarks, many of them
pictorial and of interest to thematic or topical collectors.
The 2012 stamp programme was dominated by the Queen's Diamond
Jubilee and the London 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games,
and Royal Mail's late decision to issue stamps for individual
Paralympic Gold Medal winners. The Dinosaurs issue was postponed
The programme for 2013 is shown below. The year gets off to a
busy start with a new red 1st class Machin in the first week,
together with changes to the low values to 20p, and new colours
for the 50p & £1 stamps. The first special issue marks the
150th anniversary of the London Underground railway system with
a colourful set of 6 and miniature sheet. Iin March there
is the Dr Who issue - with at least 25 different collectable
stamps, and in April the Football Heroes. After these two
bumper issues, the rest of the year can only be quieter!
Don't forget that as it is much quicker to write a blog entry
